Instructions
- 1Sit on machine with back against pad, legs under padded bar
- 2Adjust machine so padded bar rests just above ankles
- 3Extend legs until straight but not locked out
- 4Squeeze quads at top of movement
- 5Lower weight slowly to starting position
Coaching Cues
- Keep movements controlled and deliberate
- Focus on squeezing quads at top position
- Maintain constant tension throughout movement
Common Mistakes
Using momentum to kick weight up
Fix: Reduce weight and control movement
Locking knees completely at top
Fix: Keep slight bend in knees
Breathing
Exhale when extending legs, inhale when lowering
Recommended Reps
3–4 sets of 10–15 reps
